The first time I visited Ute Valley Park in Colorado Springs I actually drove right past it. It's a gorgeous open area with a few trees and a couple of trails that lead up into the foothills north of Garden of the Gods. Plus, Maps took me to a totally different park on the other side of the foothills. But I knew what I was looking for so my son and I continued to drive around until we found it. I'm so glad we did, because it was even more beautiful than I was expecting. If a nature background is what you're wanting for your senior pictures, this is the place!
